Countdown

I see that my countdown at the bottom of the page is wrong. It says 15 or so hours to go, but it doesn't take in the fact that we have flown half way around the world and changed time zones. I can't seem to get the code to change it over here, but just letting you know that we are down to 2 1/2 hours to go.

We woke up early, got up and chatted with a few people around 3:30 our time, Sunday afternoon in Oregon. Went back to bed around 5:00, and slept until 10:00! We were really surprised to find that it was so late already. By the time we were ready to go out we had missed the breakfast at the hotel, so we will go out a bit later for an early lunch.

Getting gifts ready, have to change dollars to yuan, clean up the room a bit, and we should be ready to head over to Civil Affairs. Even though we know that there are 58 families getting children today, we sure haven't seen very many foreigners on the island yet. Maybe this afternoon they'll all be walking around with their new children!
