The Flight

We can't complain about the flight to China this time around. We did have the last row on the small plane from Springfield to Chicago, but it was a quick flight. We got to Chicago, and had to change to a different concourse. Once we found our gate, they were already boarding, so we got right on. We had seats in the 34th row---bulkhead----so plenty of leg room, and no one in front of us to push their chair back into our laps. We did have a couple of kids behind us, so there was a bit of kicking from that side, but all in all not too bad.

Our flight from Chicago flew north--up over the Hudson Bay, and not that far from the North Pole. We then flew back south over Siberia, Mongolia, then all of China into Hong Kong.
