I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, "You are my servant", I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." Isaiah 41: 9-10

Thanks so much for taking the time (when I know you must be exhausted) to update us on how this trip and Janelle's adjustment is going. The whole family -- especially Ellie -- is praying for you. We knew it would be tough, and we also know that Janelle is already feeling the love, and that good times are ahead. A big hug to all of you! (P.S. Drew and Bob hated the hotpot restaurant where we ate in China. Ellie and I loved it and wish that there was one in Baltimore.) Rita, Bob, Drew and Ellie
God knows our latter ends and sees the future that we cannot see.
We wish you much grace, hope and joy in the days ahead. His calling and his equipping are certain.
We will be following in your shoes in the months ahead to meet our older child.
God's peace to you!!
Sounds like you are all doing well these past few days! Thanks for keeping us posted on your journey! Can't wait to see a smiling Janelle picture!

Hi, I just found your blog, and instead of doing dishes I have been reading about your journey to your daughter. Your journal is very real and inspiring and full of hope and love. I wish you all God's abundand blessings, and that Janelle will feel that love she so desperately wants.

it was really lifting to read your entry today....
Hope you had another good day today. Good for you for trying the duck dinner! So excited to see the progress in MinMin. We are proud of you and Richard and the wise decisions you are making, even if they aren't always easy. May Lord continue to bless this new relationship with your daughter. Looking forward to reading the blog again in the morning!
